Large construction site in Pasewalk: Friedenstrasse completely closed until December!

A fresh coat of paint for the city: Friedenstrasse in Pasewalk between Richard-Wagner-Strasse and Rothenburger Weg is currently undergoing thorough renovation. Construction work is already in full swing after the Nentwich company was awarded the contract to resurface the road. As nordkurier.de reports, Friedenstrasse will be completely closed from Monday, October 20th, until Friday, December 5th. Access to this area is only possible via Rothenburger Weg.

There is an absolute ban on stopping and parking in the closed zone to ensure that the work runs smoothly. This is not happening without reason: the renovation work includes, among other things, milling off the concrete ceiling by up to six centimeters as well as repairing all defects and selectively replacing the on-board systems. In addition, all manholes, road inlets and gate caps will be replaced before the new asphalt surface course is applied.

Important dates and information

There are some important dates for property owners and residents to note. Considerable noise is to be expected on October 28th and 29th, as the road will be completely milled during this period. On this occasion access to the properties will be temporarily not possible. Access to the property will also not be guaranteed during the work to apply the new asphalt surface layer, which is planned for November 25th to 27th.

The residents were adequately informed about the construction work, as pasewalk.de reported. Nevertheless, everyone involved is asked to be patient during this period. The emptying of garbage cans and the collection of yellow bags should be carried out as usual, possibly supported by appropriate safeguards.

Construction work will take place Monday to Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., with working hours depending on the weather.
