Let’s go to Löcknitz! On June 21st, a very special event will be celebrated on the castle meadow: The Löcknitz Local History and Castle Association is inviting you to the big Midsummer celebration on the occasion of its 20th anniversary. From 2.30 p.m., guests can expect a colorful program that celebrates not only the club's history, but also the importance of volunteer work in rural regions.

All Löcknitzers and guests who would like to celebrate the community and traditions of our region are welcome. In addition to a long coffee table, there will be live music from the Torgelow duo “Rock2”, whose sounds will create a good atmosphere. And that's not all: from 2 p.m. the Burg-Galerie opens its doors and invites you to the exhibition that honors 20 years of volunteer work.

Volunteering is at the heart of maintaining rural regions as places worth living in. Löcknitz also shows once again how important such events are for the identity and cohesion of the community. Just in time for the Midsummer celebrations, the castle club also took part in the Randow Fair on June 9th, which was a challenge due to the high summer temperatures. Thanks to the committed members who were present despite the heat and dust, the event was successful and positive. burgverein-loecknitz.de emphasizes that the apart-height profile of the performance location above the sports field was perceived by visitors as out of place, but it nevertheless brought a lot of joy to everyone involved. Another appearance by the club is already planned for July 1st on the market square in Pasewalk.
