Large fundraising campaign: 1,200 euros collected for animal protection courtyard in circles!

A rectory for the animal welfare scene in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania: The animal protection center "Mischka and your friends" in Kreien has received a remarkable donation of 1200 euros. This sum was collected by a committed raffle, organized by Lea Jasdz and her mother Nicole from the beverage country in Lübz. Lea Jasdz, who is a great folk lover herself, not only recorded a pit bull mixed mixion called Spike, but is also committed to the animal protection yard on a voluntary basis. Spike was saved from a neglected at home and found a new habitat on the farm. The animal protection center currently houses 67 dogs, 13 cats and a pig and is faced with the challenge of taking up ever more needy animals.

Community strength

Lea and her mother together with her colleagues Philipp Wolff and district manager Santana Stahl created a raffle to generate donations. The prices were sponsored generously by the deliverers of the beverage country. Among the coveted profits were not only parasols and hats, but also as a main prize a fridge - a great thing that the community brought together! The response was overwhelming and many people showed solidarity by making donations in kind.

"It is simply fantastic to see how the employees work for animal welfare, even if it means additional effort," says Santana Stahl. Stefanie Höhn, the animal rights activist who saved Spike, expressed her gratitude for such donations and mentioned the challenge that is associated with low state support.
