Bright lights and joy: WEMAG presents Sternberger Kita with Noah's Ark!
WEMAG’s 29th daycare Christmas campaign was launched in the “Sonnenschein” municipal daycare center in Sternberg. On December 5, 2025, WEMAG employee Anna Steyer presented a very special gift to the children: a handmade Noah's Ark, which was lovingly handcrafted by people with disabilities in the Lewitz workshops in Parchim. This campaign aims to not only make children's eyes light up, but also to promote awareness of sustainability and social commitment, reports pressebox.de.
Noah's Ark, which is a symbol of solidarity and hope, encourages people to play together and thus attract children's curiosity. Anja Münchow, the daycare facility manager, was extremely pleased with the gift and the potential that Noah's Ark holds for the children's development. Mayor Kathrin Haese underlined the importance of such initiatives for the city and the well-being of the children, because a new daycare center is to be moved into in February 2026, where the toys will bring far-reaching joy to the little ones.
Together for the children
WEMAG has joined forces with various partner companies to realize this Christmas campaign. Anna Steyer praised the collaboration, which was crucial to the success of this campaign. In addition, VRD household advertising ensures that the gifts arrive at the daycare centers in time for Christmas. Each Noah's Ark is delivered personally by employees of the distribution service provider, which not only expresses the anticipation but also the appreciation for craftsmanship and social responsibility.
The “Sonnenschein” daycare center is lovingly dedicated to supporting children in their various developmental processes and attaches great importance to nature in everyday life. This shows how important it is to raise children in a loving and nurturing environment.
Activities like these are not only a commitment to community values, but they also help children learn the importance of cohesion at an early age. Therefore, WEMAG's wish is clear: children should both enjoy playing and get to know the social values that connect us all.
