Large construction site Ellerried: Traffic chaos in Schwerin until the end of August!

Ellerried, Schwerin, Deutschland - In Schwerin, the citizens are: inside a big change. From June 16, comprehensive repair work on Ellerried street, which will probably continue until August 29, 2025, will begin, as Schwerin-Lokal . This work concerns both the road and bus stops to improve the city's infrastructure.

The measures are carried out by the urban self -operating SDS and are divided into several construction phases in order to keep traffic disabilities as low as possible. At the same time, the traffic at the B106 / Ellerried junction is regulated by a light signal system, which is supposed to facilitate the passage for drivers: on the inside. The access to the popular seven-sea center remains guaranteed at all times via Grabenstraße.

The construction work is carried out in a total of three sections:

• construction phase 3: from June 16 to 27, there is a section of the full closure between house numbers 9 and 15. In the period from June 30th to July 4th, the area between the Eckdrift / Ellerried and house number 15 intersection will be closed. This is followed by a complete blocking for asphalting from July 7th to 11th, which also includes access to the B106.
• construction phase 2: From 14 July to August 22nd, full closures between the intersection Eckdrift/Ellerried and house number 41 are planned, with holding and parking bans in this area.
• construction phase 1: from August 4th to 22nd, there will be a traffic routing via the traffic light system in addition to a half -side closure.

The final full closure between Grabenstraße and the intersection Eckdrift / Ellerried takes place from August 25th to 29th to complete the asphalting in the first two construction phases. During this time, a bus reduction is set up, so that the stops such as "Zum Schulacker" on the bypass and the stops towards the main train station and Göries/Lankow settlement are approached outside the construction area.
