In the exciting quarter-final game of the DVV Cup, the SSC Palmberg Schwerin after a nerve-wracking tiebreak with 3:2 against the USC Munster push through. This result means another chance for Schwerin in the competition on the way to their ninth cup victory.

The game started with the SSC trailing as Münster won the first set 25:23. But the people of Schwerin were not discouraged. In the second set they managed to triumph with 29:27 despite a nerve-wracking situation in which they missed two set points. In the third set they showed their full potential and won clearly with 25:16.

But Münster fought back bravely and brought the score to 2:2 in the fourth set by defeating Schwerin with a score of 25:23. Leadership alternated constantly and the pressure on both sides was enormous. The spectators had to be particularly excited in the tiebreak: Münster had three chances to win the game, but Schwerin held its nerve and won the decisive set 19:17.
