Pien Abrahams: With courage and strength for great swimming 2023!
Neubrandenburg, Deutschland - Toll Sea swimming is an event that inspires swimmers in Neubrandenburg. On June 28, 2022, the young athlete Pien Abrahams mastered a distance of 2.3 kilometers in impressive 1 hour and 2 minutes. This year's swimming is also planned for participation, where she has planned to push her time under an hour. It is particularly noteworthy that Pien lives with a half -side paralysis and can therefore not use her left arm in the water. Nevertheless, she has not only recovered her self-confidence, but also her strength for 12 years, as reported by the Uckermark Kurier.
TolleSese swimming 2023, as in the previous year, will take place in the Broda lido. In addition to the long distance of 2.3 km, there is also a medium -sized distance of 400 meters and a children's competition over either 100 or 400 meters. In 2022, 174 participants completed the event. The start documents will be output at 8 a.m., the registrations are possible until 9.45 a.m. Children's swimming begins at 10.15 a.m., followed by the long distance at 10.30 a.m. and the medium -sized route at 10.35 a.m. The first finishers are expected around 11.10 a.m. and the award ceremony takes place at 12 p.m.
Triathlon premiere and successes
Another highlight of the great swimming is the participation of the triathletes of SC Neubrandenburg. These showed excellent performance in the overall ranking of the main route. Lisa Heisig and Fynn Niklas Böhrs were able to achieve the first places in their categories, while Silvana Schenk and Tyler Nehring were able to cheer for second place, as can be read on the website of SC Neubrandenburg SGNB The children's swimming is also particularly exciting, in which the girls Nila Meyer, Elsa Baumgarten and Käthe Lewerenz celebrated a triple victory in the 100-meter distance. In the respective boys, the first three places went to Marvin Zimmermann, Theodor Drews and Levi Wiesjahn. Hannah Mayer was the best over the 400 meters.
organizational security
The entire event is organized by the Wasserwacht in the DRK district association Neubrandenburg, whereby security is guaranteed during swimming by accompanying boats and lifeguards.
