The winter magic has Kühlungsborn firmly under control! On the last weekend in November, more precisely on November 28th and 29th, 2025, the traditional regular guest weekend took place in the Konzertgarten West. This event for the 1st Advent attracts not only locals, but also numerous visitors to the charming Baltic Sea town.
Under the motto “For the club’s coffers”, the local clubs offered their homemade delicacies and hot drinks. Stands from the Kühlungsborn carnival club, the Kühlungsborn football sports club (FSV) and schools that look after their prom funds presented their offers. The guests were able to enjoy hot waffles with powdered sugar for 2 euros and homemade cakes, which were also available for one euro. With a classic lard bread for 1.50 euros and a hearty solyanka prepared by the men's ballet, there was something for every taste.
Festive mood and Christmas joy
The event was festively decorated and accompanied by atmospheric Christmas music. Another highlight were the light illuminations of Kühlungsborn's landmarks and a craft market, which perfectly rounded off the pre-Christmas atmosphere. On Saturday and Sunday the Christmas market opened its doors from 11 a.m. and offered a colorful supporting program with music and a lantern parade.
But Kühlungsborn has even more to offer! The winter market in Kühlungsborn Ost extends from November 28th, 2025 to January 4th, 2026, right on the festively illuminated pier forecourt on the Baltic Sea. Here you can find typical winter treats such as lard cake, garlic fries, waffles, mulled wine, punch and hot chocolate. There are also numerous Christmas offers available for the youngest visitors.
