Parchim celebrates 800 years: parade and exciting events planned!

Last week, the town hall cellar in Parchim was a place for exchange and creative idea generation. Mayor Dirk Flörke (CDU) invited numerous interested parties from politics, clubs and business to discuss the upcoming celebrations for the city's 800th anniversary. The anniversary will be celebrated in a big way in 2026, and the first step in planning was a lively afternoon in which people discussed the organization of the parade, which will mark the end of the festival week.
