Röbel/Müritz, Deutschland - An exciting race took place on June 30, 2025 at this year's Müritz relay race. The title went to the team "Möwe pasta, pasta were", which left the competition with a spectacular time of 4:26:25 hours for the 76 Kilometer route. This performance is not only impressive, but also record-breaking, because it is comparable to only two other times in the over 20 years of history of the Müritz run. Nordkurier reports that the winning team from the runners Hannes Kuntermann, Emil Grapenthin, Ricardo Wendt, Nils Seefeldt, Mattes St. Marvin, Chris-Marvin, Chris-Marvin Scheffler and Jobst Rathgen existed.
But that was far from everything. In the men's and mix relay ranking, the second place went to the SC Laage team, which reached the goal in 5:35:31 hours. Only one place behind, third place, the Suwalki running team from the Polish twin town landed with a time of 5:36:29 hours. The only women's relay, "Team Pink", came to the finish after 7:33:33 am.
The city run winner
The city run, which was organized between Röbel and goods, also deserves a special mention. The couple Gundula and Martin Guse win this with a term of 2:47:05 hours. Martin Guse thus won first place in the men's ranking, while his wife Gundula led the women's ranking. Third in the women, Julika Dahm was in 2:47:13 hours, while the men Alexander Wonsak took third place in 2:53:50 hours.
A total of 16 seasons were registered at this year's event, 14 of which were able to achieve the goal. A season was the last one with a time of 7:06:02 hours, while the team "Clever Fit" was fourth:35 hours. The event not only attracted experienced athletes, but also the youngest participants were able to pick up their medals and T-shirts at the children's relay race at the Waren Stadthafen and do a round with dinosaurs.

The Müritz run, which goes back to 2001, has developed into an important event in the running calendar of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania over the years. It is held every year in August and leads the participants in a circular route around Germany's largest inland lake. The landscape around the Müritz, with its forested profile and gentle hills, is always a highlight for the runners. According to Müritzportal, the total length of the route is 76 kilometers and leads through different stations such as Schwarzenhof, Boek and Rechlin.
The Müritz run 2025 took place in its current form as an independent event, while the Ald Run for Charity is no longer offered in goods. The participants had the opportunity to register by June 15 and to run on the cool August day, while the artificial intelligence of the ESV helpers were and committed organizers ensured that everything went smoothly. Overall, it was a successful event that inspired both athletes and spectators - the “Möwe” team will certainly not forget this triumphant day.
