The event, organized by the Vorpommern National Park Office in cooperation with National Park partners and the municipality of Klausdorf, is aimed at locals and interested visitors to the region who can look forward to a varied program. A highlight of the festival are the boat excursions to the Kubitzer Bodden, which start at 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Here the participants of expert rangers learn interesting facts about the unique flora and fauna of the region. For the little visitors there are special craft stands and a harbor raffle with great prices, so that the youngest guests will get their money's worth.

Another highlight is the led tower tour at 1:00 p.m., in which visitors can climb the 17 -meter -high brick tower on the barholder cliff. From there, a magical view of the island of Bock and the Baltic Sea opens up.

For music lovers, the shanty choir "De Prohner Hafengäng" will invite you to sing along and sway at 12:30 p.m. According to an exciting program, guests can look forward to a wild herb tour at 2:00 p.m., which is led by Sylva Juhnke. In addition, Dr. Thomas Förster gave a lecture on the "unique and endangered underwater world of the national park". Cooperation with the "Association Archeomare" promises interesting insights into the underwater regions of our national parks.

Admission to Midsummer Festival is free and parking facilities are sufficient - both at the entrance to the town and the EnBW control station and service station. As part of the celebrations, three new national park partners are also appointed at 3:00 p.m., an occasion that shows how alive the community is in the region.
