In the small community of Neetzow Liepen, more precisely in Steinmocker, a fresh wind blows from rock sounds through the landscape. The second edition of the Steinmocker Rock Open Air is just around the corner, a festival that exudes the charm of larger events such as Wacken. Organized by Hengenryk Bergemann and a dedicated nine -person club, the event will take place in August 2024 and promises exciting hours for music lovers.
The festival concept is promising: on two evenings and on two stages, a total of 17 bands from all over Germany will perform. The venue is a converted stable and the surrounding area that will offer space for the many rock fans. Visitors can also count on camping options and various supply units, which ensures a family atmosphere. SVZ reports that around 500 rock fans visited the festival last year-a remarkable success for the first edition.
The program in detail
Let's start on Friday, August 22, 2024. From 12 noon, the structure of the tents and motorhomes is announced before the first band, Meven from Greifswald, enters the stage at 5:30 p.m. After the live appearances, DJs will provide further entertainment. On Saturday, August 23, the participants will enjoy nine other bands every hour, followed by a big DJ party as the festival.
