New head of orthopedics in Pasewalk: Innovation for patients!
The Asklepios Clinic Pasewalk welcomes Dr. Andrzej Zebrowski is her new chief physician at the Clinic for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery. The 51-year-old doctor brings many years of experience from his time as a senior physician at the hospital in Prenzlau and now wants to bring a breath of fresh air to the clinic. “I am looking forward to this exciting challenge and am motivated to promote modern and patient-oriented orthopedics,” says Zebrowski.
Born in Stettin, Zebrowski completed his medical studies in his hometown and completed his specialist training in 2008 at the Asklepios Klinikum Uckermark in Schwedt. Here he played a key role in the shoulder surgery section and has established himself as a specialist in complex shoulder and joint procedures.
Focus of the new era
The main focuses of Dr. Zebrowski's areas of expertise are endoprosthetics, i.e. joint replacement, and minimally invasive shoulder surgery. According to clinic spokeswoman Steffi Kapell, minimally invasive shoulder surgery is becoming more and more important and makes it possible to carry out operations less invasively than before. During arthroscopic procedures, numerous diseases such as shoulder impingement syndrome, acromioclavicular joint arthrosis or “frozen” shoulders can be treated. However, if the damage is more severe, open operations such as reconstruction of the rotator cuff are necessary.
The Clinic for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery offers numerous treatment options. In addition to emergency care, planned operations can also be carried out. The most common clinical pictures include hip and knee osteoarthritis, foot and ankle injuries, and hand and spine-specific interventions. For elective operations, patients can simply make an appointment via the secretariat on 03973 23 1336.
A win for the region
Kai Firneisen, the clinic's managing director, sees Dr. Zebrowski is a real benefit for the clinic and the entire Western Pomerania region. Its emphasized quality and expertise in medical care not only promise a higher quality of life for patients, but also continuity and trust in the treatment. Zebrowski himself wants to strengthen the trust of his patients through empathy and open communication and relies on personal contact.
As a father of two children, Zebrowski is also interested in optimally combining his career and his family. "I understand how important trust is in medicine. Every patient has their own worries and fears," he emphasizes. With his vision to further expand orthopedics and trauma surgery at the clinic, Dr. Zebrowski soon made a significant contribution to improving patient care in Pasewalk.
With the new chief physician, the Asklepios Klinik Pasewalk has sent a strong signal for modern, quality-oriented healthcare. It will be interesting to see how the clinic will develop under his leadership!
