What could be nicer than letting your soul dangle in nature on a weekend? On June 14 and 15, 2023, the popular “Open Gardens” campaign will take place in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This event invites lovers: inside the Green, to explore private gardens, parks and nurseries and to be inspired by the variety of local garden culture. The watering can on the garden gate shows the way to the flowering paradise, which on these days open their gates for visitors: open inside. Even a week later, on June 21st, the garden pleasure in the municipality of Amt Neuhaus continues!

Ellen Grewe, who has acted as a heart and soul of the "open gardens in Amt Neuhaus" since 2008, explains how important it is to bring people closer to the beauty of their gardens. After a short Corona break, the event is in full swing again this year! In Ellen Grewes Garden, visitors can marvel at impressive jewelry lilies in pots. On June 21st, a total of ten gardens will be opened between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
