On Saturday, July 13, 2025, the long-awaited semi-final of the Speedway U24 Team European Championship took place at the Motodrom in Ludwigslust. But the German team was unable to convince despite the home advantage and had to settle for a disastrous last place finish. Denmark and Great Britain secured the two qualifying places for the final in France, while defending champions Poland and hosts France are already seeded Speedweek reported.

The conditions for Germany were exciting, but the reality was different. After the first round, the Czech Republic and Denmark were able to collect nine points each. While Denmark consolidated its position with a series of race wins until the middle of the race, Germany struggled. The final of the U24 European Championships will take place on July 26th in Macon, France. France and Poland are the only teams that have already qualified for this crucial competition.
