In Ludwigslust there is a reason to be happy: The Repaircafé has moved into new premises at Lindenstrasse 18! Today, on July 5, 2025, the opening is celebrated. The move was necessary because the old premises in Schlossstrasse had simply become too small. With a new, spacious space of 73 square meters, the café now offers sufficient space for several jobs and shelves for storage. This is aimed at the offer of people of all ages and backgrounds who would like to repair something themselves.

The Repaircafé has been providing valuable help for the repair of devices of all kinds - from vacuum cleaners to mixers to fully automatic coffee machines. Old GDR devices are particularly popular. However, televisions are not accepted. Customers only pay the costs for the required spare parts, while the work is done on a donation basis. The team always endeavors to promote repair skills and increase appreciation for obsessed objects.
