Last weekend there was a lot going on in several villages in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In bright weather, various events took place in Badow, Veelböken and Bülow, which combined both old traditions and sporting challenges. The focus was particularly on the village festival in Badow, which shone with a gripping canal race on the village pond.

The firefighters Isabell Dochtenhagen and Tino Hoffmann attracted everyone with their “Blue Pearl”. After a rapid journey, however, they were not only the winners of the race, but also had an unwanted detour into the cool water when they tipped over. "It was great fun!" Summary the two heroes after their castle pool. The festival organized by the village community and the fishing association offered a colorful program and brought the villagers closer together. Gerald Heyden was active as an auctioneer and auctioned, among other things, a grill and a hammock - which made the heart beat faster for many bidders.

The second edition of the festival, which was launched by the village community association, offered the participants ten exciting stations, which were also about skill and team spirit. In addition, a sports and family festival took place in Bülow, which organized the Königsfeld village community. The highlight of the sporting event was a football tournament in which four teams took part. The FC preferred to impressively defended its title at the pool, while FC Dynamo went home as runner -up. The Demern team also had to be satisfied with fourth place. A lively novelty for the festival visitors was the bungee run - a pleasure for everyone who wanted to go to their limits.

This abundance of festivities once again shows how lively and colorful the village picture in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is. The events not only bring fun and joy, but also the people who celebrate regional traditions and close new acquaintances.

For future events, such as the medieval market in Nack, which is scheduled to take place on July 13, 2019, the citizens can also look forward to an exciting program.
