Nechlin: A new life in the east - Carsten Flöte delights the village!

Nechlin, Deutschland - Petra and Carsten Ulerbs have been settled in Nechlin, an idyllic village between Prenzlau and Pasewalk, in recent years. The native of Münster has been living in the Uckerland for almost eight years and have settled in well here. Originally they had not planned to move to the east of Germany - Bavaria or an unknown place would have preferred. However, Carsten's offer was carried out to Neubrandenburg, where he also works at the Heeresmusikkorps Neubrandenburg, as a Army Music Corps Neubrandenburg.

"In the beginning it was unusual, but the villagers welcomed us very friendly," reports Petra. After only three months, they felt so comfortable that they decided to become members of the village association. Her commitment is also evident in the organization of events, such as the flea market, which Petra founded with her daughter. The first was a complete success and now there has already been the fourth edition.

a musician with nickname

Carsten Ulerbs, who is known as a "flute" in the village community - although he plays clarinet - is valued and impressed by the audience. He is particularly pleased with the musicians in the Army Music Corps, which not only has regional appearances, but also appears as a "sounding ambassador" for the region. An upcoming concert will take place on the Nechlin Festwiese on July 29, 2025 and promises to become another highlight for the community.

The Army Music Corps Neubrandenburg, founded in 1991, has developed to an integral part of the military and cultural landscape in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since its renaming in 2013. It not only plays on official occasions, but also ensures entertainment and cultural education in the region. The military music service is known for its diversity and у-fitting programs that even include international appearances, as on bw-online-shop.com.

for Petra and Carsten Ulerbs, the move to the east was not only a geographical change, but also a new beginning with many cultural and social facets. They show great interest in the history of the region, especially in terms of the GDR period, and enjoy nature and wildlife around their home. The family has almost completely established itself in the region, except for a son who still lives in the West.

a place full of possibilities

The villagers are consistently enthusiastic about the energy and the commitment that the uteries bring. The regular exchange and joint events strengthen the community and make Nechlin a place worth living. Carsten and Petra are certain that the step to the Baltic Sea was right and enriched her life. "We found our home here," sums up Petra with a smile.
