New life in the region: These babies saw the light in June!
Neubrandenburg, Deutschland - In the picturesque region of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, we can look forward to new earthly citizens. A whole series of babies has seen the light of day in the past few days, and we would like to introduce you to the small newcomers. The proud parents from Teterow, Qualzow, Neubrandenburg and many other places are overjoyed and willing to hug their little miracles.
Oskar from Teterow saw the light of day at 5:19 a.m. on June 1, 2025 and weighs a proud 4010 grams. His parents are from Teterow. On June 2, Arthur Wilhelm Rochow from Qualzow, who weighs 3620 grams and is 52 cm tall. His parents, Isabel and John Rochow, bring a breath of fresh air to their home.
The new ones in the neighborhood
June 3 was a big day for Neu Panstorf: Noah Bennet was born at 12:35 p.m., and its weight of 3520 grams at a size of 54 cm lets his family shine. In Neubrandenburg, too, two small personalities saw the light of day: Luna Marita Matthe, born on June 3, weighs 3260 grams and is 52 cm tall, while Ella Holtz, who already saw the light of day on May 30, brings 3200 grams on the scales at a size of 48 cm.
And that's not all: we also congratulate Johana Behnke from Alt Käbelich, who on June 1 (3720 g, 51 cm), Aaron Mahncke (June 6, 3855 g, 55 cm), August Lüttge (June 4, 3750 g, 52 cm) and many other fresh faces that were born in the last few days.
A look at the births
As far as the birth rate in Germany is concerned, the situation is quite exciting. According to the Federal Statistical Office, the term “births” includes both living and stillborn children. In the daily language, however, most only refer to the living born. In 2023, the summarized birth number (TFR) in Germany was relatively constant in Germany and was around 1.4 children per woman. This means that we experience an orchestra ring at the birth rate that continuously influences society, because to keep the population, every woman would have to get an average of 2.07 children.
A look at the development of births shows that both the age restriction as well as economic and social influences play a role. The TFR is determined by the birth frequency of women between the ages of 15 and 49, regardless of the age structure of women as a whole. The development of births in foreign women is particularly interesting: in 1991 their TFR was 2.04, while in 2020 it dropped to around 1.68, which causes a variety of discussions.
An increase in birth level has been recorded in foreign women in recent years, especially since 2013. This shows that changes in the composition of this group can also influence the total birth numbers. Nevertheless, the challenge remains to stabilize the birth rate sustainably and to steer society in a positive direction.
we come back to our newborns! In addition to Noah Bennet, Ella Holtz and all the other little fearless, there are also some who are still waiting for the world, such as Mattes Bardong from Rustow and Enno Jäsch from Boltenhagen Süderholz, who recently saw the light of day. Hans Peter Röstermundt from Rankwitz and Aaliyah-Soley Siebrecht from Krien are also among the recent family growth.
Overall, with every new baby in our communities we experience how important the family structure is and how much the little earthlings can enrich life. With this in mind, we look forward to welcoming the little adventurers and wish all families all the best!
