Cycling highlight on the lagoon: Over 100 athletes fight for victory!
Mönkebude, Deutschland - On June 21, 2025, the popular cycling event "Rad am Haff" will take place again in the idyllic surroundings of Mönkebude. With over 110 participants from different regions, including around 115 athletes, the edition this year is a fixed size in the event calendar of the Vorpommern-Greifswald district. This cycling tour not only attracts sports enthusiasts, but will also shape the streets between Mönkebude, Torgelow, Altwarp and Hintersee. With a starting shot at 10 a.m.
For everyone involved, the route will not only be a pleasure, but also a challenge. The sprint rating between Hintersee and Ahlbeck becomes particularly exciting, which ensures additional thrills. Christoph Bade, the organizer of the event, draws a positive conclusion regarding the number of participants and the entire event. "Rad am Haff" will be held for the seventh time this year and has therefore established itself as a popular attraction for cyclists and their fans. There is also entertainment for the spectators on site: a summer party with musical accompaniment by the Rock Project Torgelow creates an exuberant mood.

The participants have the choice between two varied routes, which include the following route:
- route from Mönkebude via Torgelow to Ahlbeck, further via Luckow to Vogelsang.
- The 75 kilometer route leads back to Mönkebude.
- The 95 kilometer route also leads via Altwarp.
The sprint rating over ten kilometers is eagerly awaited, with Tim Pomorin, Marcel Kingel and Daniel Korth being able to take over the favorites this year. The fun of the movement and the community are in the foreground, but the past is accompanied by the personal best of the participants.
For all cycling enthusiasts who are looking for additional challenges over the course of the year, the Stoneman Miriquidi Event could be interesting in the Ore Mountains, which takes place from April to November. This event offers both mountain bike and racetrad experiences, ideal for all those who are looking for new challenges and want to expand the experience to the industry.
