Eight-member Brutalo Group beats man to the hospital-police investigated!

In the Groß Klein district of Rostock, there was an extremely brutally conducted argument on Monday evening that took a 31-year-old man to the hospital. In front of the Klenow goal shopping center, the man was attacked by a group of about eight, with at least two to three people from this group going directly to him. According to TAG24 , the victim was hit with a blanket and suffered a head injury that required immediate medical care.

The police received an emergency call at 7:30 p.m. on the attack, whereupon several patrol cars as well as an emergency doctor and an ambulance quickly arrived at the site. Despite a search that was initiated immediately after the incident, the alleged perpetrators have so far not been able to be caught. The background of the argument remains unclear: whether it was a personal dispute, a random escalation or even a planned attack is so far unknown. Statements of the victim indicate that the perpetrators were southern -looking and possibly Syrian origin.

repeated outbreaks in the city center

This violent episode is part of a number of incidents in the Rostock city center. On October 11th there was a fight at Doberaner Platz, in which a 26-year-old Ukrainian and a 30-year-old Afghan were attacked by a four-person team. The attackers used unknown objects and then fled with a white van, such as the Nordkurier . Such incidents are unfortunately not new in the area around the Kröpeliner Tor and the Doberaner Platz. Persistent violence and brawls, especially among young men with a migration background, lead to a sunken feeling of security among citizens.

The CDU in the Rostock citizens sees the security of citizens at risk and demands measures such as video surveillance, but this is due to resistance in the citizens. Police director Achim Segebarth emphasizes that the Doberaner Platz is not a crime focus, but the raw crimes remained in a single -digit number per month.

A look at migration and crime

Interestingly, an analysis of the Federal Center for Political Education that becomes a small part of the migrants. Nevertheless, it is striking that migrants overall are more common in crime statistics than non -migrants. Many incidents of violence, especially among refugees, are closely linked to stressful living conditions and conflicts in shared accommodation.

The situation in Rostock thus reflects a bigger problem. The increase to migrants and the associated social challenges cannot be ignored. Fortunately, there are positive developments because crime tends to decline among young people from migrant families, similar to young people without a migration background. Access to education and integration options plays a crucial role.

Rostock therefore faces the challenge of ensuring both the security of the citizens and promoting the integration process for migrants. The events of the past few days make it clear: there is a need for action to strengthen social stability in the Hanseatic city.
