Rügen's harbor festival: fireworks, fun and culinary delights in July!

Sassnitz, Deutschland - The waiting has come to an end! From July 11th to 13th, tens of thousands of visitors are drawn to the Rügen Hafen Days in Sassnitz. Here the entire coast is invited to indulge and celebrate, because it is the largest maritime folk festival on the island of Rügen.

The event extends over an impressive 1.5 kilometer long stroll mile that extends from the east to western harbor. The festive atmosphere is underlined by a colorful entertainment program. Sunday starts with happy sounds of the Sassnitz brass musicians at 1 p.m. We continue with "Pep Steps, Lollipos & Kinderfunken" at 2:45 p.m., and for all fans of traditional music there is the "De Jasmunder Plattdänzer" and the "Pomeranian Brass Band" at 3:30 p.m. The crowning glory is the large fireworks above the Baltic Sea at 10:45 p.m., which will be amazed at every visitor.
