Torgelow, Deutschland - On July 5, 2025, the private boarding school Schloss Torgelow passed another impressive vintage. A total of 51 young people acquired their high school diploma this year, and that reports with an excellent total average of 1.75, such as nordkurier.de. Among these high school graduates are four who have reached the top grade of 1.0, including a talented 16-year-old student who is celebrated as one of the best of the year.

The school concept of Schloss Torgelow relies on small classes and personal support. Over 60 % of the final grades are between the ratings 1.1 and 1.9, which underlines the high quality of school training. Many of the graduates have been part of this school community since the fifth grade and have not only developed professional knowledge, but also a strong team spirit, maturity and human warmth over the years. These properties were highlighted in the festive final speech by school founder Mario Lehmann.

Individual appreciation and plans for the future

The Abitur certificate is not only a key to future study opportunities at universities, but also confirmation of hard work. 48 of the graduates already have concrete plans for the time after graduating from high school. Most of them strive for studying medicine, law, engineering and business administration. Some of the graduates prefer to take a break to gain new experiences before continuing their academic career.

A special tradition of the high school is the publication of an advertisement entitled "51 names that you should remember as an employer", which appears in large German daily newspapers. This type of recognition is reserved for the years with an overall average under 2.0 and shows the continuously high performance of the school, which has achieved this goal every year since 2015.

The Abitur is considered the highest school leaving certificate in Germany and is a prerequisite for access to universities or equal universities.
