Book ambassador on tour: Lennart Schaefer brings reading to MV!

The passion for literature on two wheels: Lennart Schaefer, 27 years old, is on axis with his literary tour through Germany to promote enthusiasm for books and reading. The book ambassador went on a considerable journey of over 8000 kilometers, which will also lead him to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This tour, which lasts from the end of March to October 2025, starts after the Leipzig Book Fair and runs to the Frankfurt Book Fair. Lennart plans to visit numerous municipalities and cities during his trip to inspire readers of all ages and to point out the importance of reading.

The first stop in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is the Lexow manor near Malchow, where it is expected from June 15th to 17th. Here Lennart will not only take part in a reading, but will also report on his experiences on the trip. According to nordkurier.de, Schaefer plans to stop at other cities such as Rostock, Kuhlen-Wendorf and Roggendorf. He consciously opted for smaller places, since there are often fewer options for promoting reading.
