Tiergartenstraße, Neustrelitz, Deutschland - On June 12, 2025, a colorful family festival took place in the Catholic daycare center St. Elisabeth in Neustrelitz, which delighted big and small visitors. Despite an unexpected rain shower, the guests did not let the mood spoil - the program was quickly moved into the dry. Parents, grandparents and children experienced an afternoon full of fun and joy on the premises in Tiergartenstrasse.

The event offered a varied program. Visitors listened to happy songs and admired the enchanting daycare dance of the children. The physical well -being provided a delicious selection: coffee, cake, homemade wraps and bratwurst from the Dudziak farm were served. In addition, the daycare staff had numerous hands-on activities on offer, including goal wall shooting, the production of giant soap bubbles and face painting. The federal police provided additional highlights with a service motorcycle and a emergency vehicle as well as a rescue vehicle from the Neubrandenburg professional fire brigade, which brought great eyes to the small visitors.

A special thank you went to all participants and the parents' council, who made the festival possible. As with many festivals in kindergarten, the commitment of parents and volunteers is of crucial importance. This is also supported by other institutions such as the daycare center in Bad Steben, where a similar effort of around 100 helpers made a successful event possible, such as luther-kita-badsteben.de Here, among other things, Springbowle and an exciting rescue course were offered to strengthen the community and spread joy.

In many kindergartens, as in the St. Elisabeth day care center, festivals and special occasions are important highlights during the course of the year. They not only offer the children an opportunity for creative development, but also help them get to know the calendar and various traditions. Events in kindergarten promote cooperation, both between the children and between the families, and teach the little ones the importance of customs and public holidays such as Christmas, Easter or the school party.
