Construction work is picking up speed: Dörchläuchtingstrasse is being redesigned!

A lot is currently happening with road construction in the picturesque Reuter settlement of Stavenhagen. Work is in full swing on Dörchläuchtingstraße between Blaumenweg and Hanne-Nüte-Straße. Mayor Stefan Guzu reported that the construction work is proceeding according to plan and that the aim is to complete the second construction phase before the contract for the next steps is awarded. It is important to lay new pipes for the sewerage and water supply and to pave the road clearly. The third and final construction phase is just around the corner as soon as the current work is completed.

The affected owners and the construction company will be informed at a residents' meeting before work begins in order to ensure clarity about the processes. This underlines the city's efforts to actively involve residents in the process and provide timely information about developments. The planned completion of the construction work is expected for next year, which will hopefully lead to better infrastructure soon.

District heating supply in Stavenhagen

Parallel to the road construction projects,wärmebedarf Stavenhagen GmbH is carrying out construction work to lay district heating pipes. This measure particularly affects the city center, where the intersection of Malchiner Straße/Gülzower Damm will remain closed until the end of June. According to the Stavenhagen heat supply, which has been active in the region for over 20 years, not only is district heating generated here, but also an important contribution to reducing environmentally harmful emissions. Cleverly placed transfer stations save both space and costs for exhaust gas cleaning, which benefits sustainability.

The road construction work seems to be a real challenge. The traffic lights on Schultetusstrasse, which regulate traffic on one side, lead to traffic jams during local traffic peak times, especially for vehicles that want to turn from the B 104 onto the B 194. But according to Guzu, the work is well underway, which should certainly make the residents positive.

Construction projects beyond Stavenhagen

The progress in Stavenhagen is part of a larger trend in construction that focuses on sustainable and economical construction. On platforms like dba-bau you can discover a variety of construction projects - from large-scale urban development projects to the new construction of entire districts. The projects include climate-friendly construction concepts that go far beyond the borders of Stavenhagen and show how municipal infrastructure is prepared for the challenges of the future.

It remains to be hoped that the construction work on Dörchläuchtingstrasse and the urgent heat supply projects will not only improve the quality of life of the residents, but also make a contribution to the sustainable development of the region. Attractive living conditions and modern infrastructure – there’s something to be said about Stavenhagen!
