The Pomeranian Triangle in Grimmen is rapidly developing into a popular destination for travelers. While it was once primarily known as a cheap gas station, it is now being transformed into a modern truck stop that not only provides fuel, but also a wide range of shopping and pleasure options. With around 1,500 daily guests, the McDonald's branch at the Autohof is one of the most visited fast food restaurants in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In addition, Netto Marken-Discount opened Germany's first motorway branch in this location.

An interesting addition is the Stolz department store, which has been on site since 2015 and stocks special products for tourists. The Junge bakery also moved its location from the old town to the Pomeranian Triangle in 2023 and has seen increasing visitor numbers since then.
