Family festival on the beach: fun and action for young and old!

On Thursday, July 17th, families, young and old, can look forward to an exciting event in the Stralsund lido. From 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., the local alliance for family of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund invites you to the traditional family festival, and participation is completely free of charge. The motto of this annual festival is to strengthen the community and bring families together in the region, which makes the local initiatives visible.

The program has some surprises for the young and old visits. In addition to creative handicrafts and painting campaigns, there are numerous sporting hands-on offers that ensure fun and movement. An exciting rally promises additionally exciting moments, while music and dance cause a good mood on stage. Gastronomic care is also not neglected and invites you to fortify yourself with delicious dishes.

The hosts and organizers

The festival is organized by Local Alliance for Family , which has been actively working on improving living and working conditions for families in Stralsund since its foundation in 2008. The Mayor of Stralsund, Dr. Alexander Badrow, dresses the patronage and has thus set a sign of how important the support of families is on site.

The alliance is an association of companies, public administration, associations and associations that regularly work together for family friendliness. This includes not only the annual family celebrations, but also awards for family -friendly companies and a parent meeting called "Bibolinchen" in the Stralsund City Library.
