This week the world kickboxing elite meets in the SWT Arena in Trier. Over 2,000 athletes from 40 nations compete in the World Championships - an event that has been a tradition for a decade. Three talents from Eggesin qualified for this sporting competition: Jaimie Lüttgeman, 10 years old, Hanna Eichelmann, 12 years old, and Colin Bötzer, 17 years old. They proudly represent Germany and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and want to prove themselves on the big stage. According to Nordkurier reports that the Lüttgemann family moved from Berlin to Eggesin four years ago. The move not only offered the young athletes a new home, but also a new circle of friends that they were able to quickly find thanks to their shared interest in kickboxing.

Kickboxing is more than just a sport for these three. Martial arts has not only helped the young athletes make new friends but also develop a passion. Jaimie Lüttgeman has already won four national titles in 2025, making her one of the most successful young athletes in Germany.
