Another important aspect of the WBG is social housing promotion, which in particular supports households with low and medium -sized incomes. According to the Federal Government, children with single and people with disabilities are often dependent on affordable living space.

The promotion of social housing and the provision of cheap rental apartments is therefore a central concern. The WBG plans to expand its portfolio with the renovated apartment building and carries out regular renovations to increase the living comfort of its tenants. This also promotes social interaction - a principle that the cooperative has followed since its foundation.

The WBG is somewhat optimistic about the future: The move -in date for the first tenants is scheduled for February 1, 2026. This not only creates urgently needed living space, but also a place of community and new life in Ludwigslust.
