Today, October 25, 2025, SSC Palmberg Schwerin got three important points from Aachen. In an exciting game that took place in the famous cauldron, the Schwerin girls won 3-1 against the ladies in Black Aachen, despite the absence of diagonal attacker Mia Kirchhoff due to injury. The sets ended as close as possible at 25:20, 25:21, 20:25 and 25:23. The spectators experienced a fighting game in which both teams gave their best and the tension lasted until the end.

After the game, coach Felix Koslowski was satisfied with the team's performance. “We fought as a team and it paid off,” said the coach. Captain Anne Hölzig was voted MVP of the game for her outstanding performance and once again proved how important she is to the team. With her commitment and team spirit, she made a significant contribution to the victory.

Exciting gameplay

The start was promising for the Ladies in Black, who took a 4-1 lead right from the start. But Schwerin was quickly back in the game and equalized to 4:4. From the middle of the set the guests pulled away with 15:12 and secured the first set with 25:20. In the second set, however, Schwerin had difficulty serving, which meant Aachen briefly led 10:8. But the Schwerin women showed themselves strong and also won this set 25:21.

The Aachen team won the third set after taking a 4-1 lead and ultimately winning 25-20. Schwerin started strong again in the fourth set and quickly led 3-0. But Aachen equalized at 15:15 and things got exciting again. However, Schwerin stabilized and won the fourth set at the end with 25:23.
