in Feldberg is time for a change in the afternoon supply of the Hans Fallada School. The municipality is looking for a new food provider for the coming years. The current contract with AWO Mecklenburg-Strelitz gGmbH expires on July 31, 2025, and as the Nordkurier announced that delivery beyond this date will no longer be possible. The reason: the required premises are no longer available.

After July 31, the food edition will continue to take place directly at school. In order to ensure this seamless transition, it is now due to the municipality of Feldberger Lake landscape to find a new provider. Around 50 meals are required for students and teachers every day, and it is important that the catering remains guaranteed.

The municipality has decided to publicly write the award procedure for lunch. This tender applies from August 1, 2025 to July 31, 2028. In order to cushion possible price increases in the future, the municipality is currently making a monthly grant to the previous provider. However, this could change, however, since the new agreement also includes renovation work by the new operator, which means that the AWO has to set its cooking activity.

With a contract that is said to have a term of three years, the possibility is also considered that the Office for Neustrelitz-Land could buy these services. It is important that applicants take into account the growing legal requirements in the award procedure. Process procedures with a value below 10,000 euros should continue to be processed at the municipal level in order to ensure the flexibility in this matter.

Regardless of the future agreement, the public law contract between the office and the municipality will not affect the community's job plan. However, it remains to be seen how the lower legal supervisory authority will approve the agreement.
