Complete closure of the Luzinweg in Feldberg: diversions from July 9th!
Things will get serious in Feldberg from July 9th: A comprehensive full closure in the “Luzinweg” area is necessary in order to carry out important work on the connection to the waste water canal. This measure is part of a new residential project, which also includes the creation of house connections for drinking and dirty water. The lockdown is expected to last until July 11th, with the first restrictions expected from July 7th. The diversions will be clearly signposted so that residents and visitors are well informed. Nordkurier reports.
The closure begins behind the container areas, around house number 31. In order to minimize the disruption, the narrow section of Luzinweg at the level of the Jewish cemetery is designated as a one-way street that can only be used from the direction of “Mühlenweg”. If you want to get to the “Hans-Fallada-Siedlung” from the direction of “Luzinweg”, you have to take detours. The Lidl supermarket, however, remains accessible via the station roundabout. Unfortunately, residents have to be prepared for obstructions in the walking and cycling paths.

Infrastructure – A future-oriented topic
These measures are not only important locally, but also in the larger context of the ongoing challenges in the German infrastructure, which, according to analyzes by PwC, is facing massive investments in the coming years. Underfunding and ineffective planning processes often lead to delayed projects. In this context, there are loud calls for reliable and transparent management of public infrastructure projects PwCnecessary to strengthen trust in public investment policy.
The goal is clear: a sustainable, high-performance and climate-friendly infrastructure that meets the needs of the population. This makes it possible to improve living conditions in Feldberg and the surrounding area even in times of restructuring. Citizens are asked to prepare for the upcoming changes and to use the diversions in good time.
