This medal was designed by Neubrandenburger Münzverein e.V. And has a stately diameter of 9 cm. Made of bronze, the medal is offered in a limited edition of only 50 copies.

A special highlight of this medal is the price of 120 euros each, half of the medals are already pre -ordered. The goal behind this project? The appreciation of the traditional city of Neubrandenburg, which receives a new form of monument through this festive occasion.

A tradition is continued

The idea for the characteristics of an anniversary medal came about in the run-up to the 775th anniversary, which was already over a year ago. The Neubrandenburger Münzverein e.V. had offered a tradition since 1948: Every 25 years is one Special embossing published. The support of cultural managers in the town hall enabled a cooperation agreement that allowed the association to select a designer for the medal and to commission the necessary stamping institution.

The artistic design came from Gilberto Pérez Villacampa, who also designed the logo for the celebrations. The final design and the associated pure drawing for the production of the stamps come from the renowned base seimm GmbH in Renningen.
